About the role

The Commercial Product Manager at Sinch is the CEO of their product from a business perspective, ensuring that the innovative technology being built and services developed also drive revenue and strengthen the company's market position.

The scope of the role is the Operator Solutions expected to drive future growth and revenues, with an initial focus on RCS and CPaaS enablement for Mobile Network Operators (MNO). You will be pivotal in shaping the Sinch and industry transition from SMS & MMS to RCS and be an active thought leader in the market.

The role will be instrumental in shaping product vision, developing innovative commercial models, and building long-term relationships with global & regional partners, including, but not limited to, Mobile Network Operators.

Key responsibilities

The Commercial Product Manager focuses on how to make the product successful in the market, defining:

  • Go-To-Market plan: Define and lead the entire strategy for launching and selling a product, including Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP).

  • Evolve the portfolio by being the voice of the customers to adapt Sinch's offering to meet requirements.

  • Profitability: Responsible for the product's profit and loss (P&L).

  • Continuous improvements: Constantly analyze performance data to find ways to increase revenue and reduce costs.

  • Be the subject matter expert on the competition, market trends, and what customers need and use the intelligence to directly shape the product's strategic direction and roadmap.

The role is ideally based at SINCH HQ in Stockholm, Sweden. We can consider support with relocation for this role.

About you

The role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and technical understanding to shape the product vision, build global partnerships with MNOs, and drive profitability.

  • Several years of experience from similar positions, preferably working with presales, products or carrier relations at MNO or a CPaaS player
  • Deep expertise in RCS business messaging, OTT messaging, CPaaS MNO enablement.
  • Solid knowledge of the messaging industry, including various communication channels such as SMS, MMS, Voice
  • Proven ability to create GTM strategies, manage P&L, and translate market data into actionable plans
