Job Overview

New Wine Digital is seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong experience in WordPress and working knowledge of Shopify. This role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing websites to ensure performance, functionality, and user experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple platforms in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, and site functionality)
• Build and manage Shopify stores, including product setup, theme adjustments, and basic customization
• Ensure websites are responsive, optimized, and aligned with modern UX/UI standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance concerns
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to implement website updates and improvements

• Optimize website speed, SEO structure, and overall performance
• Manage integrations with third-party tools, plugins, and apps

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Web Developer with strong WordPress expertise
• Basic to intermediate experience with Shopify (store setup, customization, and management)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (PHP is a plus for WordPress development)
• Experience with WordPress builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, or similar)
• Understanding of website performance optimization and SEO best practices
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment
