We’re hiring a hands-on Google Ads / PPC Specialist focused on lead generation through paid search. The goal is simple: turn high-intent searches into phone calls and booked appointments, not clicks or impressions.
This is not e-commerce or ROAS optimization on product catalogs. Success here means driving lower cost per lead, higher lead volume, and stronger lead quality across home services and local service industries such as HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, and healthcare.
You’ll own your accounts end to end — from audits and campaign builds to optimization, scaling, and performance storytelling. You’ll collaborate closely with a copywriter (ads), a web/UX team (landing pages), and account managers (client context and communication).
What You’ll Own
- Audit, build, manage, and scale Google Ads campaigns (Search, Local Services Ads / Google Guaranteed, Performance Max,
- Display, and remarketing) across multiple accounts
- Improve performance by reducing cost per lead while increasing lead volume and quality
- Manage keyword strategy, including match types, search term analysis, negative keywords, and continuous optimization to eliminate wasted spend
- Own conversion tracking integrity using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and call tracking tools (e.g., CallRail or similar), ensuring accuracy before optimization
- Close the loop with CRM data by feeding qualified leads and booked jobs back into Google Ads via offline conversion imports
- Manage bidding strategies and budget allocation to maximize lead efficiency
- Align landing pages with ad intent to improve conversion rates (in collaboration with web/UX teams)
- Continuously test ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audiences
- Report performance clearly to stakeholders and proactively flag risks or performance shifts
- Use AI tools daily to accelerate analysis, reporting, and optimization workflows

- Lead generation is different from e-commerce. This role focuses on lead quality, not purchase ROAS. Interpreting lead quality requires deeper judgment than transaction-based metrics
- Full ownership role. You will both execute campaigns and own outcomes — there is no separate team running accounts for you
- Multiple accounts, fast pace. You’ll manage several clients simultaneously, each with different seasonality patterns and performance dynamics
- Client communication under pressure. You’ll handle questions when lead volume fluctuates or costs rise, and must be able to explain performance clearly and calmly
- Tracking accuracy is critical. Incorrect tracking invalidates all optimization work — validation is a core responsibility
- Cost per lead (CPL) — reduction and stability across accounts
- Lead volume and quality — increased number of qualified leads (calls, booked appointments, form fills)
- Client retention — accounts remain due to consistent performance
- Account health — clean structure, accurate tracking, proper negatives, and well-documented changes

This role is a strong fit if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience managing Google Ads / paid search with measurable results
- Can independently audit accounts and prioritize fixes with clarity
- Have scaled budgets while maintaining cost-per-lead targets
- Have deep expertise in Search campaigns (match types, search term mining, negatives, bidding strategies)
- Have experience with Local Services Ads (Google Guaranteed), including setup, optimization, and lead dispute handling
- Have implemented and managed conversion tracking (GA4, GTM, call tracking) independently
- Have experience feeding offline CRM conversions back into Google Ads (closed-loop attribution)
- Are highly data-driven and continuously testing new approaches
- Communicate performance clearly and confidently in client-facing settings
- Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT or similar) as part of your daily workflow
- Are fluent in professional English and comfortable working with U.S.-based teams and clients
