Areti are delighted to continue our partnership with a multi-award-winning Microsoft Partner that is expanding its Cyber Security Practice capability across the UK.

We are seeking an aspiring Cloud Security Architect (or an Architect with 1-3 years’ experience) to join a growing and dynamic Cybersecurity team. This is a highly hands-on, technical role where you will lead complex security projects and help a variety of organisations strengthen their overall security posture.

You will be part of the Identity and Architecture function, applying your cyber-security expertise to design and implement secure solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security solutions for both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Evaluate architecture options and recommend solutions that deliver optimal security outcomes.
• Review existing systems to provide assurance over architectural principles and configurations.
• Conduct architecture assessments for current implementations and new projects to ensure compliance with security best practices and policies.
• Analyse systems and configurations to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Develop innovative approaches to enhance protection for the organisation and its clients.
• Share knowledge and educate stakeholders on emerging cloud security technologies and initiatives.
• Create and execute prioritized roadmaps, delivery plans, and security strategies.

Your Experience:

• Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and strong security architecture expertise across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Skilled in designing, reviewing, and securing complex application and technology architectures, including cloud migration and digital transformation projects.
• Experienced in assessing security risks, performing audits, and recommending effective controls aligned with standards such as NIST, CIS, ISO, and NCSC.
• Clear and effective communicator, able to present findings to stakeholders and maintain senior-level relationships.
• Eligible for, or holding, UK Security Clearance (SC or above) and relevant cloud/security certifications (desirable).
