Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Location: Fully Remote
Day Rate: £450/day (INSIDE IR35)
Contract Length: 6-12 months
Cloud Engineer - Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and manage CNAP policies in Wiz for continuous cloud posture assessment and remediation.
- Build policy-as-code frameworks with OPA/Rego to prevent misconfigurations pre-deployment.
- Integrate security controls into IaC workflows (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab Runners).
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to remediate non-compliant resources.
- Monitor and refine policies to continuously improve cloud governance and security posture.

Cloud Engineer - Required Experience
- Deep expertise in AWS and strong experience across other cloud platforms.
- Proficient in cloud security architecture and Wiz CNAP for posture management.
- Advanced skills in policy-as-code using OPA/Rego.
- Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD-driven DevSecOps.
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation, enforcement, and remediation.
