The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid Level Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 3) to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Quality Organization Team in Everett, Washington!

As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will be required to create information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives for internal supply chain and operations customers. Additionally, to combine basic programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes.

Position Responsibilities:

• Partners with internal team leads in the evaluation and refinement of Business Intelligence goals, business objectives, decision support needs, data and performance requirements to meet departmental/project level objectives.
• Analyzes data elements and business rules applicable to the business requirements and offers options for simple Business Intelligence information model solutions that satisfy the customer’s needs.
• Utilizes prepared data for Business Intelligence solutions including identification of missing information, quality and lack of quality to the data owners. Performs simple transformation of metadata for use. Organizes data for analysis appropriate for structured data. Utilizes standard methodologies and technologies applicable for use. Leverages the best-fit Business Intelligence technologies, methodologies and visualizations given data and business requirement criteria. Provides input to the recommendation of information delivery options and methodologies.
• Utilizes basic programming and database queries to implement scalable and efficient query models for simple to moderate complexity Business Intelligence solutions. Iteratively executes Business Intelligence models and development.
• Supports analysis to identify and understand an issue or event. Investigates evident issues through drill-down exploration and descriptive statistics. Utilizes best practices to improve productivity through automation and standardization.
• Partners with internal team to evaluation and validation of quality performance on completeness of Business Intelligence models and solutions. Evaluates, validates and refines Business Intelligence solutions to meet business objectives.
• Partners with internal team leads in determining whether stakeholder needs are met and business value is realized. Supports Communication and collaboration with business partners. Supports means of production and deployment (i.e. upgrades, testing, etc.). Delivers simple/routine decision support visualizations and reports, dashboards and/or metrics.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics or closely related field
• 5+ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, and/or R, Tableau
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience working with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Git, .NET framework, and/or Csharp

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Level 3 $109,000 - $127,000
