Job Title: Cloud Engineer (Contract)
Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to UK offices
Salary: Competitive day rate (6 month contract)

Their IT function is a collaborative and fast-paced environment, focused on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing technology solutions. As part of this, they are looking for a Cloud Engineer to support and optimise their cloud infrastructure during a key period of growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, maintain and optimise Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud environments.
- Ensure stability, performance and scalability of cloud services across the organisation.
- Provide technical support for escalations from the Service Desk.
- Support cloud integration across the business, working closely with internal stakeholders.
- Assist with onboarding and integration of new acquisitions into the cloud environment.
- Monitor, patch and maintain BAU cloud services to ensure optimal performance.
- Contribute to infrastructure design, build, testing and deployment activities.
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation for systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve cloud performance, security and efficiency.

Skills & Experience
- 3 to 5 years experience in system administration with a focus on Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including VMs, storage, networking and security.
- Experience managing Azure networking technologies such as vNets, SD-WAN and ZTNA.
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience including Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud environments.
- Ability to manage workloads across project lifecycle stages including design, build, test and deployment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
