Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager – S&T (Signalling & Telecommunication) to lead the planning, execution, and commissioning of railway signalling and telecom systems for infrastructure projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in railway S&T systems, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with railway standards, safety, and quality requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) works for railway infrastructure projects.
- Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for S&T activities.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, traction, and track teams for seamless project execution.
- Ensure installation, testing, and commissioning of signalling systems, telecom networks, interlocking systems, and related equipment.
- Monitor project progress using defined KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure all S&T works comply with Indian Railways / Metro Rail standards, safety norms, and quality requirements.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage project documentation including technical reports, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Supervise contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure quality execution and adherence to timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections, coordination meetings, and client interactions.
- Ensure timely billing, cost tracking, and resource optimization for S&T project activities.
- Support project leadership in client coordination, audits, and regulatory approvals.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in railway/metro Signalling & Telecommunication project execution.
- Experience in EPC railway projects will be preferred.
- Certification such as PMP / PRINCE2 is an added advantage.
