We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in designing proactive threat alerts using Azure Defender for Cloud and Azure Sentinel, including the creation of Sentinel data collection rules.

The ideal candidate will also have experience monitoring and reviewing alerts, and investigating triggered incidents to ensure robust security compliance.

As an Operations Engineer, you’ll:

• Keep cloud systems running smoothly with monitoring, automation, and performance tuning
• Solve complex technical problems and improve workflows to boost operational efficiency
• Collaborate with teams across IT, engineering, and analytics to drive measurable impact
• Support customers and provide on-call expertise to ensure reliability and excellence

We’re looking for someone with:

• 2–5 years in technical support, cloud operations, or DevOps (Azure experience preferred)

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Security (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, etc.
• Azure Defender for Cloud – Intermediate level experience
• Azure Sentinel – Intermediate level experience
• Azure Policy – Junior / foundational experience
• Solid base in general Azure (App Services, VMs, Monitoring, some Networking)
• Experience with support work, T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server), and PowerShell
• Proficiency with Azure services (VMs, Functions, App Services, SQL Database, Storage)
• Strong problem-solving skills, security awareness, and a mindset for continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Healthcare IT or data archival experience is a bonus
