Your Position

As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be working in our Ruby on Rails codebases to improve our SaaS platform for both our customers and our internal teams. You will work both independently and with other developers to implement a range of new features, in close collaboration with our Product team.

Your every day work routine

• Work both individually and in collaboration with other engineers on our Ruby on Rails projects, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and effective project management
• Develop our customer-facing application, as well as internal management tools, with a clear focus on customer orientation and holistic thinking
• Develop, test and deploy your code, with the support of your Team Lead, and in close collaboration with our Product, applying strong problem-solving ability and clear communication skills
• We work iteratively and deploy often
  
  

Your Profile

• You have several years of professional experience working in Ruby on Rails in backend or full-stack roles, and have already gained varied project experience, ideally with structured project ownership
• You worked at least for 4 years at a senior level, and have an expert-level knowledge of the entire Rails ecosystem, paired with a solution-oriented mindset
• You ideally have experience working in a start-up/scale-up, on a customer-facing application, and bring a pronounced user-centric approach
• You are known for your clear and effective communication style, take ownership of your work, and are able to understand complex systems through end-to-end thinking
• You live in Germany and work as a permanent employee fully remote or want to move here
