About The Role

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in developing custom WordPress websites, transforming bespoke designs into fully functional digital platforms. This role requires expertise in implementing responsive layouts using Bootstrap, creating and managing advanced custom fields for enhanced content flexibility, and ensuring optimal website performance. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure WordPress solutions that meet client specifications. Additionally, maintaining and updating existing websites, troubleshooting issues, and adhering to best coding practices are integral parts of this position. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing custom WordPress websites. A deep understanding of WordPress core functionalities, theme development, and the broader WordPress ecosystem is essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to translate design mockups from tools such as Adobe XD, InDesign, or Photoshop into fully functional websites. Proficiency with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin customization and implementation is required, along with strong knowledge of the Bootstrap framework for responsive design. Solid PHP programming skills, along with expert-level HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery expertise, are necessary. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, WordPress security best practices, and performance optimization techniques will be advantageous. Experience with WooCommerce and integrating third-party APIs is considered a plus. Certifications related to WordPress development will be viewed favorably, but a robust portfolio demonstrating relevant projects is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement custom WordPress themes based on detailed design specifications provided by clients or internal teams. Convert static or mockup designs into dynamic, fully responsive websites utilizing Bootstrap framework to ensure compatibility across all devices and browsers. Create and configure Advanced Custom Fields to enhance content management flexibility and user experience. Optimize website performance, including loading speeds and SEO rankings, by adhering to best practices. Collaborate effectively with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines. Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing WordPress websites, resolving bugs and issues promptly. Document development processes, maintain clean and organized codebases, and ensure adherence to coding standards and security protocols. Stay updated with the latest WordPress developments, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve the quality of deliverables.
