Senior Software Engineer (Backend – Golang)

Location: Remote in Europe

Overview:

My client is a prominent Web3 data streaming and infrastructure firm, specializing in staking, node services, and data-as-a-service. Their engineering team includes over 50 professionals, with veterans from top Web2 and Web3 companies.

The Opportunity:

They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build fast, reliable, and scalable Node API and Web3 Data access services. This role involves deep exploration of blockchain technologies, developing new product offerings, and helping to scale a globally distributed platform. Responsibilities:

• Develop the fastest APIs for blockchain node access.
• Implement systems for customer management, control, and billing.
• Scale data ingestion, storage, and query capabilities.
• Drive strategic integrations with blockchain networks.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years in Software Engineering.
• Strong experience with Golang for Backend (4+ years).
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Experience:

• Experience in the Blockchain industry.
• Leading open-source projects.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience in building and securing multi-tenanted systems.
• Performance testing and optimizing distributed systems.

• Salary of €90,000 - €130,000 (DOE) & equity options.
