Senior SVM Engineer — DeFi Infrastructure

We're working with one of the most important infrastructure companies in DeFi — a name you may not know, but whose technology almost certainly underpins products you do.

They build the vault infrastructure that institutions use to launch onchain yield products. Not a protocol. Not a consumer app. The layer underneath. Think payment rails, not payments. Over $16B in deposits have flowed through their system. They're Series A, backed by credible investors, and heading toward Series B with real revenue and real partners.

They're expanding to Solana — and they need the engineer who'll own that.

The role:

This is a senior individual contributor position. You'll be responsible for bringing a proven, battle-tested vault architecture to the Solana Virtual Machine — designing and building the smart contracts, integrating with Solana's DeFi ecosystem, and owning the security architecture that protects institutional capital at scale.

What that looks like day to day:

— Writing production-grade smart contracts in Rust for the SVM

— Adapting an established vault architecture for Solana's account model and parallel execution environment

— Integrating with Solana's DeFi ecosystem

— Lending protocols, DEXs, yield strategies

— Owning CPI security patterns, PDA correctness, and access control architecture

— Working closely with a security-first team on a system that cannot afford to get this wrong

What we're looking for:

This is not a role for someone who has read about Solana. The account model, PDA derivation, and CPI security patterns need to be second nature — because the infrastructure you're building holds real money at institutional scale.

— Production SVM experience: you've shipped and maintained Solana programs in a live environment

— Genuine Rust proficiency: ownership model, borrow checker, and an instinct for where unsafe code introduces risk

— DeFi protocol experience: lending, yield strategies, vault architectures, or similar

— Anchor framework experience strongly preferred

— Security-first mindset: you think about attack vectors before you think about features

Compensation & logistics:

— Base salary up to $250,000 depending on experience

— Equity: Series A with Series B on the horizon — early enough to matter

— Fully remote — open to candidates based in the US or Europe
