Coordinate with IT and HRIS teams to ensure timely setup, access, and data accuracy for new hires and separations
Generate and reconcile payroll reports, address discrepancies, and prepare necessary documentation
Serve as the first point of contact for routine HR inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and leaves
Assist in monitoring and tracking various employee leaves such as FMLA and ADA, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
Maintain compliance by preparing reports for audits, client questionnaires, and RFPs
Enter and process employee data changes in HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Support HR Business Partners in managing employee relations issues, investigations, and corrective actions
Oversee hiring requisition workflows, verify approvals, and ensure compensation aligns with company standards
Assist in coordinating performance management activities, including timelines and communications with leaders
Support employee engagement initiatives through collaboration on team-building, recognition, and other programs
Monitor and ensure timely completion of mandatory annual training and compliance requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HR department and organizational goals

About The Role

The HR Generalist will serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers, handling onboarding, offboarding, payroll reconciliation, employee relations, and training coordination. The role operates during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in human resources or a relevant field preferred; High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of three years experience in HR coordination, HR operations, or related roles
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Paycom preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships at all organizational levels
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data confidentiality
  • Knowledge of HR practices, payroll processes, and compliance standards
  • Demonstrated teamwork, problem-solving skills, and resilience under pressure
  • Ability to follow company policies and adapt to changing procedures
