Senior AWS DevOps Engineer
(£100,000 - £120,000 + bonus)
The Technology Engineering team at a prestigious asset manager is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join them in reimagining their core infrastructure and enterprise platform technologies. Your role will be pivotal in creating scalable AWS-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Engineer capabilities and functions that promote the adoption of enterprise platforms across the business, driving innovation.
- Guide decisions on platform and infrastructure upgrades, refreshes, and replacements.
- Lead or support incident response and problem-solving efforts in complex implementations and across multiple domains.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts that span multiple functional domains, informing new standards.
- Enhance automation and documentation continuously, and mentor others on best practices in infrastructure automation.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in DevOps, particularly with AWS.
- Experience with container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Fargate).
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions.
- Strong foundation in infrastructure and systems engineering (Unix/Linux, networking, storage, monitoring).
- Experience in building system integrations and automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform (HCL).
