Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst (OT Cybersecurity) to support a Florida-based customer in a fully remote capacity. This seasoned professional will serve as a key liaison between Operational Technology (OT), Information Technology (IT), and Cybersecurity teams to define and document requirements that reduce operational and cyber risk across industrial environments.

This role requires deep expertise in OT systems and industrial control environments, along with strong requirements engineering and process optimization capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary bridge between OT, IT, and Cybersecurity stakeholders.

• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business, technical, and security requirements.

• Assess operational and cyber risk across OT environments and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Translate regulatory, compliance, and cybersecurity standards into actionable technical requirements.

• Support implementation of security controls within Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and related OT infrastructure.

• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional working sessions.

• Develop process flows, gap analyses, risk assessments, and functional specifications.

• Ensure alignment between operational objectives and cybersecurity initiatives.

• Support validation, testing, and deployment activities as needed.

• Provide executive-ready documentation and status reporting.

Required Qualifications

• 11–15 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) systems and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

• Experience working in cybersecurity-focused environments.

• Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and process engineering.

• Experience bridging IT and OT environments.

• Strong understanding of risk management and security control frameworks.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting a geographically dispersed team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting regulated industries (energy, utilities, manufacturing, transportation, etc.).

• Familiarity with OT cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISA/IEC 62443).

• Prior experience supporting public sector or Florida-based organizations is a plus.
