Key Responsibilities

Job Description


We are seeking an experienced ICT Security Analyst to join our team and provide expert support to one of our key clients in the Education Technology (EdTech) sector. For the right candidate with the necessary skills and experience, we are pleased to offer 482 visa sponsorship. You will be responsible for analysing security risks, assessing vulnerabilities, and helping to develop and implement robust security programmes. You will work closely with both our team and the client’s IT and business units to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.


Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct security risk assessments and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Vulnerability Management: Manage vulnerability scanning programmes and analyse results to prioritise and remediate security weaknesses.
  • Policy & Compliance: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies and procedures in line with relevant industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
  • Security Audits: Participate in internal and external security audits and assessments, helping to demonstrate compliance.
  • Threat Intelligence: Stay informed of the latest security threats and trends to proactively identify potential risks to the client’s environment.
  • Advisory: Provide expert security advice and guidance to the client’s project teams and stakeholders.
  • Security Programme Management: Contribute to the overall security programme by tracking security initiatives and reporting on their progress.


Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in an ICT Security Analyst role or a similar position with a focus on risk assessment and security analysis.
  • Security Frameworks: Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
  • Security Tools: Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable.io, Qualys) and SIEM platforms.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
