Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cyber Security Engineer, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with some flexibility for remote work. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect infrastructure, applications, and sensitive data. Key tasks include performing vulnerability assessments, securing networks, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Application Security and implementing security measures throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Strong expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security practices, including incident response and risk management
  • Experience in Network Security, including administering firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and secure network architecture
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive Vulnerability Assessments and mitigate security threats effectively
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, or CISM) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
