What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a motivated, personable Business Development Representative (BDR) who enjoys building relationships, making outbound calls, and helping construction and engineering teams solve real operational challenges. This role is ideal for someone who understands the construction or project management environment and can speak confidently with superintendents, project managers, and operations leaders about their workflows and pain points.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a CRM, and skilled at identifying which opportunities are most likely to convert into qualified sales conversations. You should be curious, resilient, and eager to learn a highly technical product that supports complex, real-world construction projects.
Responsibilities—what you'll do:
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, warm calls, email, and follow-ups to generate qualified sales opportunities
- Engage construction, engineering, and operations stakeholders to understand project needs and business challenges
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule discovery meetings
- Research accounts and contacts to identify the best prospects and prioritize outreach efforts
- Navigate and maintain accurate records in the CRM, including call notes, contact details, and opportunity status
- Track outreach activity and follow up consistently to move prospects through the sales pipeline
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align on campaigns, messaging, and target accounts
- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams based on market conversations and customer needs
- Learn and clearly communicate the value of highly technical construction and engineering solutions
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and opportunity-generation targets

Requirements:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing roles, preferably in construction, engineering, SaaS, or technical services
- Working knowledge of construction, project management, or related industries (field experience is a plus)
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and consistent follow-up
- Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze CRM data and prioritize the right opportunities
- Exceptional attention to detail in CRM documentation and client communication
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar preferred)
- Experience with US employers
- Fully fluent in English
- Ability to commit long-term and full-time
