Network Security Engineer (Resident Engineer) – Contract

We’re supporting a major global technology company delivering long-term services to a strategic customer in Riyadh. We’re looking to onboard an experienced Network Security Engineer (Resident Engineer) to work on-site in KSA. This is a highly stable engagement, the customer relationship spans multiple years and the role is very likely to renew.

The Role

As the on-site Resident Engineer, you’ll take ownership of firewall operations, migrations, and security improvements across a large-scale enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working hands-on with a broad range of Palo Alto Networks NGFW platforms, from PA-7050 through to PA-3200 series
• Migrating configurations from legacy firewall platforms to new hardware
• Delivering full technical refresh projects for firewall infrastructure
• Advanced use of Panorama for migrations, centralised management, and day-to-day operations
• Driving security enhancements, incident response, and firewall hardening/cleanup
• Supporting environments with a strong private cloud focus
• Providing solid routing & switching support alongside security operations

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Network Security / Firewall Engineer in enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto NGFW & Panorama
• Experience delivering firewall migrations and refresh programmes
• Comfortable working on-site with customers in a resident / embedded role
• Background in network fundamentals (R&S) alongside security
• Ability to operate independently and represent a global technology vendor on customer site
