About the role:

Our team is growing fast and embracing new challenges, so we’re looking to hire a new Paid Social Specialist to join our team.


This is a fast-paced and fast-growth position. As a member of the Consulting team, you will be delivering paid social media campaigns across Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and other emerging platforms for a diverse group of clients.


Reporting directly to the Head of Digital, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Paid social campaign delivery – plan, implement, and optimise paid social campaigns, developing audience targeting strategies, managing budget pacing, performing analysis, aligning with client goals, adapting to change, and integrating with full-service digital strategies to maximise performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, CPM, ROAS, and conversion rate) and deliver exceptional return on investment.
  • Full-funnel expertise – deliver campaigns across the full marketing funnel, from brand awareness and consideration through to lead generation, e-commerce, and other conversion-focused campaign types, with a primary emphasis on achieving measurable end results for clients.
  • Paid social analysis – conduct paid social audits, analyse campaign performance, compare campaign configuration to best practice, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations in the form of client-ready deliverable documents.
  • Paid social strategy – assist with the development of paid social strategies, the planning of paid social campaigns, the development of campaign forecasts, and the consolidation of campaign activities and results into digestible and meaningful client reports.
  • Creative excellence – develop creative ad concepts, write persuasive ad copy, and provide creative direction for ad assets that go beyond the ordinary to hook attention and inspire action across diverse ad formats, including image, video, carousel, collection, lead forms, and emerging formats.
  • Technical paid social knowledge – possess advanced capabilities across Meta Ads (Business Manager, Ads Manager, audience configuration, campaign architecture, creative optimisation), LinkedIn Ads (Campaign Manager, Matched Audiences, B2B strategies), and TikTok Ads (TikTok Ads Manager, Spark Ads, emerging formats), with a working knowledge of conversion tracking and analytics tools.
  • Paid social troubleshooting – provide paid social advice to other consultants, identify campaign issues, troubleshoot problems across all paid social platforms, and make both data-driven and intuitive recommendations for actionable improvement to other team members.
  • Quality focus – manage workloads autonomously, embrace problems, collaborate effectively, deliver high-quality work on time and budget, adapt quickly, solve issues proactively, and take pride in producing excellence.
  • Client engagement – help to foster strong client relationships, tailor recommendations to goals, deliver excellent service, earn positive feedback, and take ownership of agency success.
  • AI & emerging technologies – embrace your AI-obsession and voracious appetite for learning to re-think and re-invent traditional paid social processes, maximising the benefits of AI-powered advertising features (eg Meta Advantage+, LinkedIn Predictive Audiences, TikTok Smart+), implementing AI-powered workflow automations, and contributing to the development of AI-augmented paid social services.


What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking someone with 3+ years of experience in paid social media advertising, preferably with agency experience, ideally combined with tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, technology, or other associated disciplines. Additional digital marketing coursework or master’s level degrees will be looked upon favourably.


You will have expert-level experience with:

  • Meta Ads – including Business Manager, Ads Manager, audience configuration, campaign architecture, and creative optimisation. This is our primary paid social platform and you will be expected to demonstrate expert-level proficiency.
  • LinkedIn Ads – including Campaign Manager, audience targeting, Matched Audiences, and B2B campaign strategies.
  • TikTok Ads – including TikTok Ads Manager, creative best practices, Spark Ads, and emerging ad formats.
  • Data Analytics – proficiency in GA4, Looker Studio, Excel / Google Sheets, and other data analytics platforms, enabling you to make insightful decisions and recommendations.


Bonus points if you can also demonstrate:

  • Ability to design and produce ad creative assets (static images and short-form video) using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
  • Experience with organic social media management, including content creation, content calendar planning, and social media posting.
  • Experience working in a marketing agency and a love for fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads, or other social advertising platforms.
  • Skills in other digital marketing areas like Google Ads, SEO, Email Marketing, Brand, UX, Web Design, or Web Development.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and attribution modelling.
  • Experience building AI automations and building AI agents.


This is a full-time remote role with standard business hours. You will be expected to be available and working during scheduled hours, participating in team standups, responding to communications promptly, and maintaining real-time visibility of your workload through our project management tool, Asana.
