Job Description


This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Analyst, Risk & Insurance - REMOTE. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the comprehensive risk management program that safeguards health, safety, and financial resources. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure timely financial transactions and effective claims management while maintaining meticulous records. Your analytical skills will aid in budget forecasting and reporting, making a meaningful impact on the company's financial health and risk assessment processes. This fully remote position requires a dedicated individual who can work independently and is committed to supporting the company's mission.

Accountabilities

  • Confirm timely insurance premium payments to maintain coverage.
  • Coordinate claims-related payments with claims managers.
  • Maintain records of financial transactions and assist with audits.
  • Prepare financial reports for senior management and relevant departments.
  • Analyze and assist with Risk Management budgets and forecasting.
  • Prepare Bordereau reports of claims for excess carriers.
  • Assist in documenting claims costs for reimbursements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Insurance or 5 years related experience.
  • Experience in fiscal assistance/accounting in an office environment.
  • Knowledge of administrative processes related to insurance.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of financial reporting.
