Based in Gibraltar as part of the IT Operations team, you will work with physical and virtual networking systems, support cloud migrations and collaborate closely with DevOps, development teams and external partners to ensure smooth, high‑performance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and scale network infrastructure across global data centres and cloud environments.
  • Automate network provisioning, configuration and operational workflows.
  • Improve network performance, security and scalability through modern solutions.
  • Support migrations from on‑premises to cloud, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Maintain uptime, performance and capacity across hybrid networking environments.
  • Drive efficiency through automation, tooling and standardised deployment processes.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, procedures and policies.
  • Work closely with DevOps and support teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively, including participation in an on‑call rotation.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting across IP protocols.
  • Hands‑on experience with BGP (public/private AS) and traffic engineering.
  • Practical experience with networking hardware such as Arista, Juniper MX/SRX, Palo Alto, and Cisco Nexus/IOS.
  • Experience managing hybrid environments across physical networks and cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as EVPN VXLAN, Spine‑Leaf, HSRP/VRRP, PIM, IGMP, VPNs and NetFlow.
  • Strong automation skills with Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines using Git.
  • Experienced with networking on AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, PCNE (GCP), or equivalent vendor certifications.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container networking.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to deep packet inspection, keyword filtering, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB) or analytics engines (e.g., Elasticsearch).
