About the Opportunity:
Careerscape is actively recruiting a UI/UX Designer on behalf of a product development company based in San Francisco. This fully remote role is ideal for someone passionate about creating user-centered designs that solve real problems and deliver seamless experiences. You'll lead design projects from research and wireframes through high-fidelity prototypes, working closely with product managers and developers to bring ideas to life.
Compensation: $90,000 – $115,000/year
Location: Remote (San Francisco, California)
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing
- Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Design high-fidelity UI mockups for web and mobile applications
- Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries
- Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and priorities
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation
- Present design decisions and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Continuously iterate based on user feedback and analytics

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
- Expert proficiency in Figma including prototyping and design systems
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Solid understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts and handoff workflows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field preferred
