We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong hands-on experience in SQL and .NET development, who is open to working with the Karate Framework for automation testing. This role is ideal for a developer or backend engineer looking to grow into automation using modern API/UI automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate Framework.
- Perform API and UI automation testing using Karate features and DSL.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration tests across platforms.
- Use SQL for backend validations, data verification, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality automation practices.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work with developers on resolution.
- Continuously enhance automation coverage and maintain test stability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–8 years of experience in SQL and .NET development.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and SDLC.
- Eagerness to work on Karate Framework automation.
- Good understanding of API structures (REST, JSON, XML).
- Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
