We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team remotely. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical projects with the UAE's largest organizations, supported by relocation assistance.

Responsibilities


  • Design and develop data pipelines (batch and streaming);


  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality, availability, and reliability;


  • Design architectures for data storage: DWH, Data Lake, Lakehouse;


  • Collaborate with Data Science, backend engineers, and analysts;


  • Contribute to building a modern data platform.


Experience & Competencies


  • 2–3+ years of experience in Data Engineering;


  • Strong production-level Python development experience;


  • Deep knowledge of SQL and understanding of query optimization;


  • Hands-on experience with Spark (PySpark), Kafka, Airflow;


  • Experience building DWHs (Snowflake, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL);


  • Understanding of Data Lake, Lakehouse, Medallion architectures;


  • Experience with Databricks;


  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure): IAM, S3, containerization (Docker);


  • Knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), IaC (Terraform);


  • Understanding of Data Quality, observability, and data lineage principles;


  • Experience working with orchestration systems (Airflow/Dagster)
