Job Description


Are you passionate about driving product excellence within a collaborative, agile team? One of the country’s largest fintech organizations is searching for a dynamic Product Owner to join their cross-functional group 100% remotely. In this impactful role, you’ll analyze client usage data and performance metrics to help maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and drive adoption of innovative solutions. If you love translating strategy into real results and enjoy working closely with both stakeholders and technical teams, this is the role for you!


This exciting opportunity to shape digital product strategies begins as a 6-month W2 contract with the potential for extension or conversion, depending on business needs and performance. Benefits are available for contractors, and you’ll work with talented professionals nationwide. This position is 100% fully remote within the U.S., offering flexibility and work-life balance.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog to ensure clarity and maximize value delivery.
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision, build out the roadmap, and align requirements with organizational strategy.
  • Serve as the main bridge between customers, stakeholders, and development teams—gathering input and refining features for the best possible user experience.
  • Lead sprint planning sessions, create detailed user stories, and validate completed work to uphold quality standards.
  • Track and interpret key performance metrics and market shifts to inform ongoing product improvements and strategy.


Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Deep understanding of agile principles, backlog management, and creation of effective user stories.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a knack for negotiation and collaboration.
  • Strong utilization of Tableau reporting software and AWS cloud environments.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests by evaluating business impact, ROI, and overall value.
  • Technical familiarity with modern software development, particularly in environments leveraging cloud technologies.
  • Exposure to Jira is a plus.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification preferred.
