- Develop and manage the annual materials budget, ensuring alignment with departmental and company goals.
- Oversee all Canadian warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations, including the Spares Warehouse and YYC MRO Store.
- Drive inventory accuracy and availability while optimizing carrying costs and managing obsolescence.
- Lead the development and implementation of materials management SOPs and process improvements.
- Ensure ERP data integrity and enforce best practices for material tracking.
- Manage contracts and relationships with freight vendors (e.g., FedEx) to control costs and service levels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the materials team through coaching and performance management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and HR policies

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics required.
- 7+ years in materials management or logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Aviation industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Supply Chain (CSCP/CPIM) or Six Sigma certification is considered an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; extensive experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE) is required.
- Strong analytical skills, experience managing budgets, and a proven ability to negotiate vendor contracts and lead cross-functional teams.
