Job Description

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator with a focus on Object Storage and File Services, who can ensure stable operation, maintenance and development of our storage infrastructure. You will be a central part of our Storage NAS team and will be responsible for implementing and operating our Object Storage and File Service platforms.

Your primary tasks

• Administration and monitoring of Object Storage platforms (S3-compatible systems) and File Services.
• Operation and maintenance of Hitachi VSP One Object Storage and Hitachi HNAS
• Implementation of best practices for data replication, backup and disaster recovery.
• Performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Automation of operational tasks via scripting (e.g. Ansible).
• Troubleshooting and problem solving in collaboration with other infrastructure teams.
• Documentation of systems and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Solid experience with operating the Storage platform.
• Advanced knowledge of object storage technologies and file services.
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions (preferably Hitachi).
• Hitachi HNAS, Hitachi VSP1 Object, Hitachi HCP and HCP Cloudscale.
• Understanding of network protocols, security and storage architecture.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a structured manner.
• Ability to work independently and seek collaboration when needed.
• English min B2.
