Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Technology Support Engineer to join a high-performance, technology-driven trading firm in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will support and enhance the enterprise IT systems and applications that enable employees to perform at their best. You’ll work at the intersection of user experience and operational excellence — ensuring technology is reliable, secure, and continuously improving.

This position combines hands-on technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement, offering the opportunity to lead impactful improvements across a dynamic organisation.


What You’ll Do

User Support & Incident Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related requests and incidents
  • Deliver timely resolutions while minimizing business disruption

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with users and key stakeholders
  • Understand business needs to maintain and optimise the IT environment

IT Lifecycle Management

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Oversee user access, permissions, and device provisioning

Proactive IT Operations

  • Monitor system performance and implement alerting solutions
  • Identify trends and resolve potential issues before they impact users

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Standardise IT processes and enhance documentation

Security & Compliance

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to internal security policies and industry standards

Project Leadership

  • Lead and contribute to IT projects aimed at improving infrastructure and user experience

Enterprise Solutions Collaboration

  • Analyse and recommend improvements to user-facing technologies
  • Collaborate with broader IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in end-user support and enterprise IT operations
  • Strong expertise within the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows OS, Office Suite, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP)
  • Hands-on experience with SCCM, Intune, RDP, Zoom, Slack, Confluence, and collaboration tools
  • Experience supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and AV equipment
  • Operational knowledge of VMware, backup solutions, datastore management, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Experience managing user access, SOE image creation and deployment
  • Strong understanding of change management processes and IT documentation standards
  • A proactive, service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
