Network/Firewall/WAF Administrator

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Network/Firewall/WAF Administrator to join their dynamic team. As a Network/Firewall/WAF Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Security Operations team supporting critical infrastructure and security protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to security challenges, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Network/Firewall/WAF Administrator

Location: Fully remote

What's the Job?

• Document and identify DNS record updates to facilitate seamless migration between headquarters and TMS environments.
• Review current port-based rules and convert them to App-ID based or least-privilege security policies in the new environment.
• Identify and troubleshoot network, firewall, and WAF issues to ensure optimal security and performance.
• Collaborate with system subject matter experts throughout testing, UAT, and production phases to ensure smooth deployment.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and client management regarding issues and proposed resolutions to support system rehosting efforts.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Experience with Windows, VMWare, and SQL technologies.
• Strong understanding of network, firewall, and WAF administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to document technical processes and create comprehensive diagrams.
