Role Description The Vice President of Infrastructure at Nova Finance is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure and related services. This role leads the design, implementation, and optimization of infrastructure platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and security across all environments. The Vice President of Infrastructure collaborates with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business goals, manages vendor relationships, and oversees budgeting and resource allocation for infrastructure initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing infrastructure and operations teams, setting standards and best practices, monitoring system performance and risk, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. The role also focuses on continuous improvement, driving modernization efforts, and supporting cross-functional projects that depend on robust and secure technology services.
Qualifications
- Strong infrastructure leadership experience, including oversight of data centers, cloud environments, and enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to define and execute IT strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and long-term growth.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder communication, and delivery of complex initiatives.
- Deep understanding of network security principles and practices, with experience implementing controls and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and a track record of improving service reliability and support processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide distributed teams in a remote environment.
- Background in financial services or similarly regulated industries is beneficial, with familiarity in compliance and audit requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
