Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Team Lead to oversee and drive the delivery of enterprise network services for a large financial services organization. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people and delivery management, supporting a highly regulated, mission-critical environment.

The ideal candidate has deep enterprise networking experience, is comfortable leading distributed teams, and can balance technical execution with stakeholder communication and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers supporting enterprise and data center environments
• Own day-to-day network operations, including incident response, problem management, and change delivery
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex network and connectivity issues
• Drive standards, best practices, and consistency across routing, switching, firewall, and load balancing platforms
• Partner with security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to support business initiatives
• Ensure network solutions meet regulatory, security, and availability requirements
• Support network modernization, resilience, and automation initiatives
• Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to roadmap planning and continuous improvement efforts

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience
• Proven experience leading or acting as a senior/lead engineer within a network team
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, TCP/IP)
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and network security concepts
• Experience supporting highly regulated or mission-critical environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across complex, multi-site networks
• Ability to lead remote teams and work effectively across time zones
• Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders
