Montash are supporting a large, technology-led FinTech platform operating at global scale. Data and Machine Learning sit at the core of how this business operates, and the organisation is now investing further to centralise and elevate its ML and AI capabilities.
They’re hiring an ML Executive to set direction, build teams, and drive measurable impact across multiple mission-critical domains. This is a strategic leadership role with genuine ownership over ML outcomes, platforms, and long-term capability. You’ll lead a centralised Machine Learning organisation, responsible for both model development and ML platform engineering, while working closely with senior stakeholders across product, commercial, and risk-focused functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the Machine Learning and AI strategy across the organisation
- Build, scale, and lead high-performing teams of ML engineers, modelers, and AI platform specialists
- Take ownership of the end-to-end ML lifecycle, from experimentation through to production and optimisation
- Drive ML impact across multiple established product and operational areas, including:
- Decisioning and risk-related systems 📊

What They’re Looking For
- 15+ years’ experience in Machine Learning, AI, or closely related technical disciplines

- Strong track record of delivering production ML systems tied directly to business performance and revenue outcomes
- Comfortable operating within complex, matrixed organisations, influencing senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and retaining senior technical talent
