We are seeking a highly skilled QA SDET to join our Quality Engineering team in the Banking domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, Java programming, API testing, and Selenium, with a solid understanding of QA processes and banking applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
  • Perform API testing using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks
  • Develop robust test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment
  • Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
  • Ensure compliance with banking standards, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform database validation and backend testing as required
  • Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA best practices


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience as a QA / SDET
  • Proficiency in Java programming
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Solid experience in API testing (REST/SOAP)
  • Good understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
  • Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
