About The Role

As our QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and elevating the quality standards of our software products. You will serve as the guardian of excellence within our Agile squads, proactively shifting quality practices "to the left" to ensure we deliver world-class software at speed. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between business requirements and seamless user experiences by building a robust, automated safety net for our Web and Mobile platforms. This involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, collaborating closely with product teams, and ensuring the integrity and reliability of our SaaS ecosystem. You will also mentor junior team members, promote a culture of quality, and continuously seek opportunities to improve testing processes through modern QA tooling and best practices. Your efforts will directly impact the speed, reliability, and overall quality of our product releases, enabling Holafly to stay at the forefront of the travel-tech industry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing (Software Testing Life Cycle) with a focus on Web and Mobile applications
• Proven expertise in building automation frameworks from scratch using Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with Maestro or similar mobile testing tools is a major plus
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and active participation in ceremonies
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Docker
• Solid knowledge of SQL for database validation and data verification

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners during refinement sessions to define comprehensive Acceptance Criteria and identify edge cases prior to development
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for Web and Mobile platforms
• Implement and manage automated regression suites within CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software releases
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger, ensuring API functionality aligns with specifications
• Conduct database validation to ensure data integrity across the SaaS ecosystem
• Act as a technical mentor for junior QA team members, fostering a culture of shared responsibility for quality
• Identify process gaps and propose modern QA tooling and practices to elevate organizational standards
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, providing feedback and insights to improve overall development and testing processes
