Senior Automation Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript, Angular, and Playwright, who can design, build, and maintain automation frameworks while also creating and testing application modules. This role combines hands-on technical skills with strategic thinking to ensure high-quality releases across all product lines.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for end-to-end testing.
- Create and test application modules, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define test strategies and plans.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated test execution, parallelization, and faster feedback.
- Integrate BrowserStack for cross-browser and multi-device testing.
- Perform manual testing (regression, functional, integration) when needed to validate workflows.
- Improve test coverage across UI, API, and accessibility.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and reduce flakiness.
- Mentor team members and enforce best practices in automation and coding.
- Explore AI-driven testing approaches for self-healing and intelligent test selection.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, Angular, and Playwright.
- Ability to create and test modules in Angular applications.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern web fundamentals.
- Experience with BrowserStack or similar platforms for distributed testing.
- Familiarity with API testing and accessibility standards.
- Minimum 8 years of combined automation and manual testing experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic).
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing.
- AWS or other cloud services experience.
