HiCareer is supporting a confidential health & wellness app in hiring a Frontend Developer. The company is around 30+ people, remote-first from day one, and builds a personalised consumer app focused on habit-building, motivation and long-term engagement.
This role is for someone who enjoys building great user experiences — and who actively uses AI tools to code faster, explore ideas and raise quality.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll build and refine user-facing features in a modern, product-led setup.
You’ll work closely with Product Designers in Figma, implement features using React and TypeScript, and collaborate with backend engineers via GitHub. Product planning and documentation live in Notion, with delivery tracked in Linear.
AI tools are a natural part of how the team works. You’ll regularly use AI-assisted coding tools (for example to scaffold components, refactor code, explore alternatives or debug faster), while still applying strong engineering judgement around performance, accessibility and maintainability.
You’re encouraged to experiment with workflows, improve frontend patterns and contribute to a codebase that stays clean even as the team moves quickly.

- Comfort owning features end-to-end
- Experience building modern UIs with React and TypeScript
- Actively uses AI tools for coding, problem-solving and iteration
- Enjoys “vibe coding” — exploring, testing and refining ideas quickly
- Curious, self-driven and focused on continuous improvement
Bonus experience
- Experience with AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Copilot or similar)
- Experience with design systems or component libraries
- Experience from consumer apps or subscription-based products
