About The Role

As a Staff Product Designer on the Growth team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Linktree’s product-led growth strategy. Your focus will be at the intersection of user behavior, business objectives, and product excellence. You will lead the design of experiments, onboarding flows, conversion funnels, and monetization experiences that help users discover value, upgrade their plans, and stay engaged. This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring you to influence product direction, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and elevate the standard of design craft and experimentation. Additionally, you will mentor and guide other designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, strategic thinking, and user-centric design. Your work will directly contribute to driving growth metrics and enhancing the overall user experience of Linktree’s platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in a senior or staff-level role focused on growth or optimization.
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating exceptional design craft, critical thinking, and impact-driven solutions.
• Deep understanding of product-led growth mechanics, including design strategies for conversion, retention, and revenue generation.
• Strong experience with experimentation methodologies, including designing A/B tests, analyzing results, and iterating rapidly.
• Proficiency as a systems thinker, capable of balancing pixel-perfect design with overarching product vision.
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design rationales, strategic thinking, and trade-offs clearly and persuasively.
• Prior management experience or a demonstrated interest in growing into a leadership or mentorship role.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and iterate on comprehensive user journeys that significantly impact user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue.
• Develop and communicate the design vision and strategy for growth levers across acquisition, engagement, and monetization.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and marketing teams to identify high-impact opportunities and shape product roadmaps.
• Lead complex projects from insight discovery through execution, measurement, and continuous iteration.
• Define and refine experimentation frameworks from a design perspective, ensuring robust measurement and learning.
• Advocate for design excellence and user-centricity, balancing rapid experimentation with long-term product quality.
• Mentor and coach other designers, fostering their professional growth and aligning their work with business goals.
• Partner with design leadership on initiatives related to design operations, hiring, and cultivating a strong growth design culture.
