Job Description
Chevron’s Business Support Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires, is accepting applications for the position of API Developer successful candidates will join the IT Organization, which is part of a multifunction service and technical center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe.
The Real Estate Management API Developer designs, builds, and maintains APIs that enable seamless integration between real estate systems, enterprise applications, and data platforms. This role ensures data accuracy, workflow automation, and supports digital optimization initiatives for global real estate operations.
Responsibilities
API Development & Integration
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for real estate management systems, including IWMS replacement projects and integration with Nuvola/Omni platforms.
- Implement secure and scalable API solutions to support workflows such as adding/retiring building catalog items and handling service requests.
- Collaborate with business teams to resolve data quality issues in building location datasets and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Validate and optimize data flows between internal systems and external vendors.
- Enhance and troubleshoot workflows for real estate processes, including furniture requests and space management tasks.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and team catch-ups to align on priorities and PI objectives.
- Work closely with product owners and cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and address operational concerns.
- Contribute to system modernization efforts, including migration from legacy platforms to new digital solutions.
- Proficient in APIs, integrations, and web services, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including functional workflows and process diagrams.
- Experienced in functional roles, bridging business requirements with technical execution to ensure alignment and value delivery.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC best practices, including deployment, testing, and peer review, ensuring high-quality and reliable deliverables.
- Highly proficient in English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Abiltity to travel.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- ServiceNow: Over 1.5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform administration and development. Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Preferred expertise: ServiceNow CIS-ITSM certification and ITIL v4 framework knowledge.
- Power Platform: Solid understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. Skilled in leveraging and connecting to Dataverse for data management and integration. Experienced in developing agents and building integrations with external systems to enhance automation and business workflows.
