About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team at Acorns. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across various technical disciplines, including software engineering, security, product management, and design, to support the growth of our teams at both Acorns and GoHenry. Your expertise will help shape our talent acquisition strategies, ensuring we attract, evaluate, and hire top-tier candidates who align with our mission and values.

This position offers a unique opportunity to influence our hiring processes, build scalable systems, and partner closely with leadership to deliver talent solutions that drive business success. As a remote-first organization, we provide flexibility to work from anywhere, with optional access to our Irvine, CA office. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to assemble high-performing teams committed to delivering innovative financial wellness products that positively impact millions of lives.

From day one, you will collaborate with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to develop targeted sourcing strategies, improve interview processes, and enhance our employer brand. Your role will also involve mentoring junior recruiters, analyzing recruiting metrics, and continuously refining our hiring practices to ensure an exceptional candidate experience and high-quality hires.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical or non-technical recruiting experience
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact hires across various technical disciplines
• Deep expertise in sourcing and hiring software engineers, security engineers, designers, and product managers
• Strong network-building skills within emerging technical talent pools
• Knowledge of ML, AI, and LLM-related technical trends and talent landscapes
• Experience with hiring software, evaluation tools, and interview structures
• Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder influence skills
• Operational rigor with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Passion for societal change and aligning work with personal mission

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with leadership to design and implement effective hiring strategies that align with business objectives and values
• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for technical and cross-functional roles, ensuring a seamless candidate experience from outreach to offer
• Develop a deep understanding of roles within Acorns and GoHenry to identify the best talent fit
• Source actively and creatively to build diverse pipelines of high-caliber candidates
• Evaluate and optimize recruiting operations, including interview structures, evaluation tools, and candidate assessment processes
• Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership by providing recruiting insights that influence broader business decisions
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in hiring
• Collaborate with HR and marketing teams to strengthen employer branding and create scalable recruitment programs
• Stay informed on industry trends, especially in ML, AI, and emerging tech talent landscapes, to maintain competitive hiring practices
