We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with hands-on experience validating microservices, front-end applications, APIs, and working within Agile development teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both functional and technical testing, has solid experience working in CI/CD environments, and is comfortable collaborating closely with product and engineering teams throughout the full development lifecycle.


You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality delivery by participating in solution definition, test design, execution, and continuous process improvement.


Important Note: This position requires relocation to Málaga, Spain. While relocation is being arranged, the selected candidate will work remotely during Spanish working hours (CET). Once in Málaga, the role will be hybrid, combining onsite and remote work days.


Responsabilities:


  • Participation in the definition, development, and testing of software solutions.
  • Experience collaborating in Agile product development, especially Scrum or Kanban environments.
  • Functional and technical testing experience.
  • Hands-on experience testing microservices, APIs, and front-end applications.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.


Education

  • Certificate of Higher Education, University Degree, or Master’s Degree.
  • A technical background is considered a strong advantage.


Skills & Knowledge (Mandatory)

  • +3 years of experience using the required technologies and tools.
  • Agile methodologies: Scrum and Kanban.
  • User-level knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams.
  • Test management: ALM.
  • Testing tools: SOAP UI, Postman, JMeter.
  • Basic knowledge of Java for test automation.
  • Experience with Selenium.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL).
  • Highly fluent in English, both written and spoken.


Skills & Knowledge (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Karate framework.
  • Experience with Playwright.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Knowledge of Cucumber and BDD frameworks.

  • Ability to work effectively within fluid, fast-changing environments.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
