Test Lead - Enterprise System Testing and Quality Engineering

Assurity is growing and we are looking for an experienced Test Lead to take the lead in shaping how testing and quality engineering come to life across a range of exciting projects and client engagements. You’ll work directly with clients, helping them design, implement, and optimise testing strategies that deliver real value, and you’ll play a key role in lifting testing capability within Assurity and across the wider ICT community.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who has worked on Enterprise transformation projects such as ERP, finance, payroll or procurement.

About You

As Senior Consultant/Test Lead, you’ll take ownership of the testing strategy and delivery across large-scale system implementations. You’ll work closely with clients, project teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested, compliant, and ready for go-live.

You’ll lead end-to-end testing activities, manage testing timelines and risks, and provide trusted guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle. This role requires someone who can confidently engage with stakeholders, navigate complexity, and bring clarity to challenging programmes.

What you’ll bring

• Extensive experience leading testing across large system implementations and transformation programmes
• Skilled at creating and executing test strategies, test plans, and defect management processes across complex programmes
• Confidence in managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and testing concepts into clear business language

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a focus on delivering practical solutions
• Familiarity with modern delivery methodologies and enterprise implementation approaches
• Relevant Degree or Tertiary qualification (IT, Technology, Testing) or
• equivalent experience would be desirable.
• 3+ years experience in formal software testing with exposure to test planning.

Nice to have

• Experience and capability understanding and working with AI tools.
• ERP, Oracle Fusion, procurement, finance, payroll
• Exposure to Workday HCM implementations or testing
• Experience with other enterprise platforms
• A background working in consulting or professional services
