In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution for a key product line focused on Literacy/ELA, driving initiatives that directly impact teachers and students. You will craft long-term product roadmaps, prioritize features based on customer and business value, and collaborate across Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Sales to ensure successful delivery. This position involves mentoring a team member, developing their product management capabilities, and representing the product line in leadership discussions. Accountabilities
- Define and drive a multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the Literacy/ELA product line.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Sales to ensure alignment and delivery of high-impact solutions.
- Lead customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering strong product thinking and execution skills.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable deliverables and track progress against key metrics such as adoption, revenue, and satisfaction.
- Participate in annual planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Represent the product line as a thought leader internally and externally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 7–10 years of experience in product management, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or related industries.
- Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
- Experience mentoring and managing team members.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and execution skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with leaders across all levels of the organization.
- Passion for education and improving teaching and learning, particularly in Literacy/ELA.
