We are seeking a skilled .NET Engineer to join a fully remote Latin American team and contribute to the development of modern, scalable, and highly available software platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, design microservices-based architectures, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will guide junior engineers, participate in architectural decisions, and ensure high standards of code quality and reliability. Accountabilities
- Develop and implement scalable, flexible, and highly available platform architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in architectural discussions and document modernized software platforms.
- Build and test new ideas using a fail-fast methodology to quickly assess and pivot as needed.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in developing and maintaining microservices-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, specifications, and integration points.
- Utilize public cloud services (AWS, Azure) to optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring component reliability and uptime.
- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to microservices and cloud computing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with .NET and C#.
- 2+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Advanced English proficiency for effective communication with international clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to mentor others.
- Familiarity with scalable software design, cloud computing best practices, and modern development methodologies.
