- Accountabilities:
- Plan, manage, and coordinate technical IT projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation in collaboration with engineering, product, QA, and design teams.
- Track project performance using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project) and report status to stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Support site surveys, equipment installations, and coordination with local teams and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain schedules, status reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and reporting metrics such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, software development, or IT systems implementation.
- PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana, or Confluence.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Technical background or aptitude for quickly understanding and communicating technical concepts.
- Willingness to travel 50โ75% of the time.
- Experience in regulated or secure environments (e.g., government, aviation, transportation) preferred.
- DHS Secret clearance eligibility or existing Secret Clearance is a plus.
- Experience managing remote or distributed teams and relevant certifications (ITIL, airport-specific) is an asset.
