Our client is a rapidly growing digital marketing agency specializing in SEO and website development for law firms and professional service providers. Serving over 150 clients, our mission is to help businesses grow through measurable, data-driven digital marketing.
In addition to SEO, we provide full-scale website development services — from new website builds to ongoing technical maintenance and support.
About the role:
Our client is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join their remote team. You’ll work closely with their Web Development Manager and a team of developers to build, enhance, and maintain client websites.
This role will involve a combination of:
- New website builds (custom WordPress themes and layouts).
- Ongoing site maintenance (updates, design changes, performance optimization).
- Technical support and troubleshooting (critical fixes, QA, and Core Web Vitals improvements).
Key responsibilities:
- Edit, maintain, and enhance client WordPress sites.
- Develop new websites from Figma designs with full responsiveness.
- Customize and optimize themes, plugins, and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
- Improve Core Web Vitals and site performance for SEO.
- Perform QA testing and code reviews prior to deployment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve critical site errors.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Required Skills & Experience:
Must have:
- 3+ years of professional experience with WordPress (custom theme/plugin development).
- Strong proficiency in ACF: PRO (Advanced Custom Fields).
- Excellent command of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic–intermediate).
- Experience taking Figma or similar designs and building responsive, pixel-perfect sites.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals, SEO best practices, and website optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Portfolio showcasing WordPress projects you’ve built or managed.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Based in LATAM
Nice to have:
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 and other analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
- Knowledge of multilingual site management (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
- Experience working in a digital marketing or SEO agency.
- Background in QA processes and testing workflows.
Shift: Monday through Friday - Flexible schedule - Available to overlap 4 working hours with PST
