Job Description
We’re hiring: Junior Unity Game Systems Developer
Remote -- LATAM-friendly hours
Compensation: $400-$600 USD/month
Salas Games is a new indie studio building a real multiplayer project in Unity, and we’re looking for a junior Unity developer who knows how to build, communicate clearly, and stay inside scope.
This is a junior role with junior pay. We want to be very upfront about that.
What we offer is not big-studio money. What we do offer is real production experience on a real game, a structured team, clear ownership, and mentorship from an experienced tech lead.
What this role is:
This is a game systems role.
You’ll be working on the rules, formulas, data models, and gameplay logic that make the game actually function.
That includes things like:
- economy systems
- stat and progression systems
- inventory and item logic
- vendor/shop logic
- combat and death rules
- mission/core gameplay loop support
- traps, hacking, disguise, and other gameplay systems
You will not be inventing the entire architecture from scratch. You’ll be building inside an existing production structure with a tech lead, defined scope, and clear implementation targets.

What we value
We want builders, not people who disappear into theory.
That means:
- you respect scope
- you keep momentum
- you communicate early
- you solve what’s in front of you
- you do not turn simple systems into over-engineered science projects
If you like clear expectations, honest feedback, and learning by shipping, this could be a great fit.
Important
Please do not apply if:
- you can’t commit full-time
- you tend to debate architecture more than build features
- you ignore scope and build things that weren’t asked for
- you use “junior” as a reason for low output
We’re a small studio.
That means the standard is simple: be dependable, be coachable, and build.
If that sounds like you, apply now.
