StartupHeroes is looking for an Android Developer. We're on the hunt for Android Developers who are passionate about building reliable, elegant, and scalable mobile experiences. What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with your team to brainstorm, design, and develop new features for our mobile apps
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Kotlin
- Take ownership of features and contribute to the long-term stability and quality of the Android codebase
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the best possible user experience
- Work closely with QA and Support teams to investigate and resolve production issues
- Continuously learn, evaluate, and integrate new Android technologies and tools
What You Should Have
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional experience developing Android applications
- Solid Kotlin skills (Java is a plus)
- Experience with Android development tools and libraries (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Retrofit, Coroutines)
- Familiarity with app architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
- Experience working with REST APIs and handling local/offline data
- Version control experience (Git)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
