Senior AI Engineer / GenAI Developer

Our client, a leading firm in the private banking sector, is looking for a Senior AI Engineer / GenAI Developer to join their team delivering innovative AI-powered solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable AI systems, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform business needs into impactful, AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver innovative solutions powered by Generative AI, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable AI systems, including data pipelines, APIs, and integrations with external tools and platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and operations, to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions.

• Drive continuous improvement in development processes to enhance scalability, security, and performance.

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI technologies and share insights to inspire innovation and technical excellence within the team.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical expertise and deep understanding of software engineering best practices, with a particular emphasis on Python. Highly proficient in designing and developing scalable backend API solutions.

• Track record of hands-on AI and GenAI solution development and delivery, with a strong understanding of industry-standard frameworks and libraries.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in both English and French.

📍 Geneva – Swiss residency or relocation required
